The house was completed Oct' '05, and sits on a .67 acre lot on a quite street. The city of Elgin has about 2000 people, and is 13 miles north-east from Ft Sill on I-44. There is a nice grocery store, pharmacy, various restaurants, and a couple discount stores. Schools are within 3 blocks, with a brand new high school due to open in Aug '09. The new BAE factory is expected to open by 2010, and so the area should continue to grow and maintain good real estate value. The house is within city limits, and so has city water and garbage, with the water bill never exceeding $65 during watering months. The house is all-electric, and power bills in summer or winter never exceed $165. Every room is wired for cable, and currently I use Dish Network.T |
