We have converted one of our bedrooms into an office, and its perfect for working from home. The back-yard is always a welcomed retreat to sit and relax or cook up a meal on the built in brick BBQ.

This is truly a fantastic neighborhhod!. It is clean, quiet and friendly…very pleasant and cooperative neighbors. Everyone keeps their homes in good shape and the yards are all well tended. The location is so convenient for almost anything you are looking for: It is two blocks from the Oceanside LIRR station - 45 min train ride to Penn station, easy access to major highways nearby, a 10 minute drive to Long Beach where there is a long boardwalk for riding bikes or walking and a clean, fun beach, several large grocery and department stores and 3 well known Natural Food stores close by, and movie theaters are fairly close including one that specializes in art films. There are great eating establishments everywhere in the vicinity: Sushi, Fish Houses, Steak Houses, Diners, and lots of smaller ethnic restaurants, and a great deli just down the block.
